Ford will soon release their new truck called 2018 Ford F-150. This model will be redesigned both inside and outside. New engine types will be offered, as well as new safety systems. 2018 Ford F-150 engine lineup will include four different powertrains. New naturally aspirated V6 engine with 3.3-liter is capable of producing 282 horsepower and 253 lb-ft of torque. 2.7-liter turbo V6 engine has been improved and it should now generate more than 325 horsepower and 375 lb-ft of torque, which was the case in previous version. In addition, 5.0-liter V8 engine should be tweaked to produce even more than previously generated 385 horsepower and 387 lb-ft of torque. Ford will also offer 3.5-liter V6 twin-turbo with 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. All engines will come mated to 10-speed automatic transmission. Max towing capacity will range from 7,600 pounds, and go all the way up to 12,200 pounds. This model rating will remain at 18 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway, averaging 21 mpg with 2WD, while 4WD model will do 17/28/20 mpg.
